The longing for more holistic, “integral” ways of being dates back to the beginnings of humanity. The term “integral” is not new; it has been coined in the early 20th century for describing a newly emerging structure of consciousness and of understanding the world.
This book provides an overview of some of the most important inspirational thinkers of the emerging ecosystem of a new kind of understanding and doing politics, based on integral consciousness, from Sri Aurobindo to the Metamodernists. It explores what each of these inspirators contributes to a timely understanding of new paradigm/integral politics and what we can learn from them for reinventing politics in our time.
