LiFT Workshop 4 (Caux), June 26-July 1, 2015

Impact Leadership Track for “Trust & integrity in the global economy (TIGE)

The final LiFT workshop as part of the ongoing project took place in the summer of 2015 in Caux, above the city of Montreux on Lake Geneva (Switzerland). Since the end of World War II, a Foundation is located in Caux that works for peace and reconciliation between former enemies. Further initiatives, inspired by it, include the Caux Round Table for ethical trade and the project Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy (TIGE). Every summer the Foundation runs the so-called Caux Conferences, an event of several weeks, each of which is thematically designed by one partner organization. The week from June 26 to July 1, 2015  focuses on ethical transformations of the global economy and is designed by TIGE.

During this week, the LiFT project offered an “Impact Leadership Track“, in cooperation with TIGE.
Its aim was to invite participants from all regions of the world to translate a global vision of the “good life within the limits of the planet Earth” into concrete guidelines for actions of individuals, organizations and communities in their respective countries. This was done based on experiences of the Swiss Impact Hub.
